"That the agenda for the July 5, 2023 Social Services Committee be approved."

"That the Social Services Committee receive the correspondence from the Township of Clearview regarding 'Declaring Intimate Partner Violence an Epidemic' for information, noting that County Council previously considered correspondence regarding this subject matter at the April 12, 2023 and June 21, 2023 Council meetings and subsequently received it for information; and Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive this correspondence for information."

"That the Social Services Committee receive the correspondence from the City of Quinte West regarding 'Renovictions' for information; and Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive this correspondence for information."

"That the Social Services Committee receive the correspondence from the Town of Perry Sound regarding 'Additional Resources to Combat Opioid, Mental Health and Homelessness' for information; and Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive this correspondence for information."

"That this Committee proceed with the next portion of the meeting being closed to the public at 1:08 p.m.; and Further That the meeting is closed to the public as permitted under the Municipal Act Section 239.(d.) in order to address matters pertaining to labour relations or employee negotiations (Community and Social Services), and that Jennifer Moore, Lisa Horne, Jennifer Glover, Cheryl Sanders and Anjolina Rankin-West remain present; and Further That the meeting is closed to the public as permitted under the Municipal Act Section 239.(2.k), (2.e) and (2.h) in order to address matters pertaining to confidential negotiations (Community and Social Services), litigation or potential litigation, and information explicitly supplied in confidence to the municipality by another level of government regarding funding, and that Jennifer Moore, Lisa Horne, Rebecca Carman, Cheryl Sanders and Anjolina Rankin-West remain present."

“That the Social Services Committee, having considered Report 2023-083 ‘Caseworker Staffing Requests’, recommend that County Council approve an increase to the Community and Social Services staffing compliment by two Caseworker positions.”

“That the Social Services Committee, having considered Report 2023-084 ‘Municipal Housing Facilities By-law – 152 Cockburn Street, Campbellford’, recommend that County Council enact a Municipal Housing Facilities By-law identifying 152 Cockburn Street, Campbellford as a Municipal Housing Facility, as per the executed contribution agreement between Northumberland County and the Northumberland County Housing Corporation.”

“That the Social Services Committee, having considered Report 2023-085 ‘Community Housing Master Plan and NCHC Asset Management Plan’, recommend that County Council approve the Community Housing Master Plan; and Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive the NCHC Asset Management Plan for information and direct staff to include the NCHC Asset Management Plan to the forthcoming County Asset Management Plan.”

"That the Social Services Committee receive the May 24, 2023 Annual General Meeting minutes, the May 24, 2023 Shareholder minutes, and the May 24, 2023 regular meeting minutes of the Northumberland County Housing Corporation for information; and Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive these minutes for information."
