"That the agenda for the February 5, 2025 Social Services Committee be approved."

“That the Social Services Committee receive the delegation from Integrated Homelessness & Addictions Response Centre (Jordan Stevenson and Nichola Davies) regarding 'Social Services Delivery in Northumberland County' for information.”

"That the Social Services Committee receive the correspondence from the City of Markham regarding 'Solve the Crisis Campaign' for information, noting that County Council previously considered and supported correspondence regarding this subject matter at the November 20, 2024 County Council meeting; and Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive this correspondence for information."

"That the Social Services Committee, having considered the correspondence from the City of Woodstock regarding 'Adequate and Sustainable Funding for Child Welfare Agencies', recommend that County Council support the correspondence and direct staff to send a copy of this resolution to key stakeholders, including the Honourable Doug Ford (Premier of Ontario), the Honorable Michael Parsa (Minister of Children, Community and Social Services), and the Office of the MPP for Northumberland-Peterborough South, Highland Shores Children’s Aid Society and Northumberland County's 7 Member Municipalities.”

“That the Social Services Committee receive Report 2025-028 ‘310 Division Street, Cobourg Data Update’ for information; and Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive this report for information.”

“That the Social Services Committee, having considered Report 2025-029 ‘Municipal Housing Facilities Agreement -129 Kent Street, Campbellford’, recommend the County Council enact a Municipal Housing Facilities By- law identifying 129 Kent Street, Campbellford as a Municipal Housing facility, as per the executed contribution agreement between Northumberland County and the Northumberland County Housing Corporation (NCHC), at the February 19, 2025 County Council meeting.”

"That the Social Services Committee receive the November 27, 2024 meeting minutes of the Northumberland County Housing Corporation for information; and Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive the minutes for information."

"That the Social Services Committee receive the December 17, 2024 meeting minutes of the 310 Division Street Community Liaison Committee for information; and Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive the minutes for information; and Further That the Committee recommend that County Council direct staff to invite representatives from the Community Liaison Committee to a future Committee / Council meeting to provide quarterly updates / reporting.”

“That the Social Services Committee receive the verbal update regarding duplicate correspondence for information.”

“That the Social Services Committee recommend that County Council direct staff to engage in discussions with Northumberland Hills Hospital regarding their vacant land and partnership opportunities for supporting housing.”
