That the Public Works Committee receive the correspondence from Trans-Northern 'Notice of Encroachment Removal Program', for information; and Further That the Committee recommends that County Council receive this correspondence for information."

That the Public Works Committee, having considered Report 2021-109 ‘Eagleson Landfill – Alterations to Leachate Collection System – Tender Award’, note that the successful proponent is RD Build Inc, at a price of $619,796 (plus tax); and Further That the Committee recommend that County Council award the contract to RD Build Inc; and Further That the Committee recommend that County Council approve surplus MRF revenues and savings in landfill leachate management costs be used to make up the short fall between the approved budget and the quoted price to construct the alterations to the Leachate Collection System at the Eagleson Landfill; and Further That the Committee recommend that County Council authorize any insufficient funds available from the projected surplus in MRF revenues and projected savings in landfill leachate management costs, the remainder of the funds necessary to cover the cost of this contract be taken from the Waste Services Divisions Capital Reserves.”
