"That the Special County Council Agenda for June 7, 2021 be approved."

“ That Northumberland County Council receives the information provided by Northumberland Hills Hospital and Campbellford Memorial Hospital; and Further That Council consider the information and the Hospitals’ request for financial support during the upcoming 2022 Budget deliberations.”

“ That County Council approve a total project budget of $18,450,000 (not including the value of land), with costs broken down as follows: • $13,700,000 in hard construction costs; • $3,100,000 in escalations and contingencies; • $1,330,000 in soft costs; and • $320,000 in unrecoverable HST; and That County Council approve the Elgin Park Redevelopment financing strategy as follows: • $5,770,000 committed grant from Canada-Ontario Community Housing Initiative; • $1,500,000 anticipated forgivable loan from CMHC’s Co-Investment Fund; • $518,964 funding through Northumberland County; • $199,502 funding through the Town of Cobourg; • $10,461,534 Infrastructure Ontario debenture; and That County Council approve an Infrastructure Ontario debenture of costs not secured by other funding sources, should the County not be successful in receiving the full allocation from CMHC."

"That By-law 19-2021 being a By-law to confirm the proceedings of a Special meeting of County Council held on June 7, 2021 be introduced, be deemed to be read a first, second and third time, be passed, signed and sealed."
