That the Public Works Committee receive correspondence 6a for information, noting that County Council previously supported the request from the Township of Scugog to encourage the Province of Ontario and the Government of Canada to provide more funding to rural municipalities to support infrastructure projects, including those projects related to major bridge and culvert replacements; and Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive this correspondence for information."

That the Public Works Committee receive correspondence 6b for information regarding 'Traffic Safety Progress Report'; and Further That the Committee recommend that County Council support this correspondence and refer to staff for information."

That the Public Works Committee receive the Quarter 3 (Q3), 2021 Financial Updates 'Transportation, Waste, Facilities and the Golden Plough Lodge Rebuild' for information; and Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive the Financial Update for information."

That the Public Works Committee having considered Report 2021-197 ‘Go Expansion Business Case’ recommend that County Council approve the ‘Go Expansion Business Case study’ and; Further That the Committee recommend that County Council direct staff to send a copy of this resolution and report to Metrolinx, the Honourable David Piccini (Northumberland-Peterborough South), and the seven member municipalities; and Further That the Committee recommend that County Council direct staff to continue discussions with Metrolinx and the member municipalities to pursue and advance a pilot project for the extension of GO services to Northumberland County.”
