"That the Economic Development, Tourism and Land Use Planning Committee receive the correspondence regarding 'Cannabis Act Review' for information; and Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive this correspondence for information."

"Whereas at the April 3, 2023, Special County Council meeting, Council directed staff to explore initial key areas of focus for the development of the 2023-2027 Strategic Plan including: • Shared services / resources with member municipalities; • Affordable / workforce housing; • Economic development opportunities; and Whereas Council further directed staff to engage in consultation with staff, community, and stakeholders to identify any additional areas of focus; That the Economic Development, Tourism and Land Use Planning Committee receive Report 2023-057 'County Strategic Plan Communications and Engagement Strategy’ for information; and Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive this report for information.”

“That the Economic Development, Tourism and Land Use Planning Committee, having considered Report 2023-058, ‘Northumberland Workforce Housing Corporation’ recommend that County Council support the creation of a Municipal Services Corporation (MSC) dedicated to Workforce Housing.”

“That the Economic Development, Tourism and Land Use Planning Committee receive Report 2023-059 ‘BECN Program Updates - May 2023’ for information; and Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive this report for information.”

“That the Economic Development, Tourism and Land Use Planning Committee receive Report 2023-060 ‘Proposed Provincial Legislation, Bill 97 and Draft Provincial Policy Statement’ for information; and Further That the Committee recommend that County Council receive this report for information.”

“That the Economic Development, Tourism and Land Use Planning Committee, having considered Report 2023-061 ‘Draft Approval for a Plan of Subdivision’ located at 9493 Community Centre Road in the Village of Baltimore, recommend that County Council authorize staff to draft approve the subdivision following endorsement by Hamilton Township; and Further That the Committee recommend that County Council direct staff to send notice of the draft approval to all prescribed persons in accordance with the Planning Act.”
